Workshop held in Ashford Place.

Éamonn O'Riordan was born and raised in Athea, West Limerick. He began playing the tin whistle at the age of six, encouraged by his grandfather, Éamonn Senior and his Uncle Harry , who also played the instrument. Éamonn took up the flute at eleven years of age and spent a lot of time playing with great West Limerick musicians such as Donal O'Sullivan, Francis O'Connor and singer Con Greaney. He was also heavily influenced by Kerry music and musicians like Nicky and Anne McAuliffe, Connie O'Connell and Paddy Cronin who he had the privilege of playing with and learning music from for many years. Other flute players who have influenced Éamonn include Jack Dolan, Mick Woods, Tom Morrison and Eddie Moloney.
