Afternoon Children’s Céilí Dancing Workshop: Sala Room, The Crown Hotel 

A fun introduction to Céilí Dancing for Children with experienced primary school and dance teacher Anne Drury.

Anne Drury has over 30 years’ experience in teaching and learning various forms of Irish dances – céilí, set dancing and sean nós – having learnt herself from dancing masters across Ireland. Anne’s knowledge spans a variety of styles with different formations and numbers. She also has knowledge of footwork for particular dance styles. We are delighted to welcome Anne back to teaching at the Festival.

No experience is needed for this workshop, footwork will be shown – partner not needed.

This workshop is open to children and young participants up to the age of 18. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (parents/ guardians are welcome to join if they wish).
